Ivan embarked upon his artistic pursuits as a child in Dominican Republic, where he was born and raised. A self-taught painter, he dabbled with several mediums before formally studying photography and printmaking at the University of Massachusetts and sculpture at Massachusetts College of Art in Boston.

Since then, Ivan has been making waves on the art scene with solo as well as group exhibits at various galleries. His collections such as ‘New Doors’, ‘Rhythm and Blues’, ‘Mystic Air’ and ‘Sound of Lust’ stand out among his impressive body of work.

The art that Ivan creates suggests and fulminate movement: compositions that can be viewed in all angles as a visual counterpoint. His work has also been featured and reviewed in notable publications such as Gallery Bill Magazine and Direct Magazine.
