Blind Boxes Announces Partnership With HashLips

It has been a productive month so far at Blind Boxes, with the announcement of several dynamic strategic partnerships. Now we are delighted to partner with HashLips, a blockchain-based project that algorithmically generates new creations and merge them together in order to blend their traits like backgrounds, lip colors, tongue, teeth, and rarity stamps and create unique pieces of programmable art.

HashLips has produced super-rare, limited edition artwork to be sold in Blind Boxes collections using their gamified, mystery box mechanism. This offers increased exposure and the potential for higher sales for HashLips, while providing Blind Boxes access to their niche community of art collectors.

This partnership introduces HashLips to the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) protocol, which currently offers creators lower gas fees and speedier transaction speeds than Ethereum.

How It works

The project is the brainchild of NFT artist and software engineer Daniel Eugene Botha, who first creates numerous ‘lip’ designs with distinctive attributes that include color, add on accessories, and background shades. Every layer of these raw images is then merged with one another using a specific Javascript coded program to create unique, time stamped PNG files of lip images with a completely altered set of physical traits. These ‘HashLips’ are then minted and recorded on a blockchain.
