Blind Boxes continues to expand its footprint with strategic partnerships across the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Today the team is pleased to announce a partnership with OIN Finance, a decentralized stablecoin issuance and trading platform.

Blind Boxes x OIN Finance BLES Stablecoin

OIN DAO allows projects to seamlessly integrate within the greater DeFi ecosystem by enabling them to mint stablecoins pegged to the US Dollar. OIN further facilitates DeFi functionality by enabling token swapping, staking, lending, and hedging. The platform also allows users to add leverage and earn higher yields.

This partnership opens fresh possibilities for BLES token holders . For example users can lock their tokens in the OIN DAO smart contract to trigger the issuance of a BLES stablecoin. This token can then easily be swapped for mainstream crypto assets or utilized as leverage to earn a higher yield.

The partnership also empowers the OIN community to stake their native stablecoin, USDO1, and earn Blind Boxes’ synthetic cryptocurrency, BLES. These newly minted BLES stablecoins could potentially be redeemed by the OIN community to access special features. These perks could include the ability to get early access to limited edition NFT collections or the ability to activate discounts on purchases made on the Blind Boxes platform.

OIN Finance will kick off its own NFT journey by tapping the Blind Boxes’ roster of creators to create art in the theme of the company and project. Winners of the competition will have their work minted into NFTs and sold within a limited edition, OIN-branded Blind Boxes collection.
