Blind Boxes Artist Spotlight: Jake Kobrin

At Blind Boxes, we set high standards for the talent we select for our platform and are hence proud to onboard Jake Kobrin, an internationally recognized artist whose work has graced transformational events such as Burning Man and Boom Festival.

Born in San Francisco, Jake considers the world his oyster, and has traversed continents to rigorously study traditional drawing and painting practices in Europe, devoting countless hours at museums and learning from history’s greatest masterpieces. An apprenticeship with Maestro Michel John Angel at the esteemed Angel Academy in Florence, Italy helped him hone his talent, as did a stint at the Academy of Visionary Art in Vienna, Austria.

Jake’s expertise in psychedelic art is a result of his deep commitment to his craft as well as an homage to a prestigious lineage of artists such as Alex Gray, Ernst Fuchs, Gustav Moreau, and William Blake.

The artist is currently working on a new collection and his NFTs will feature in an exclusive Blind Box release soon.
