How to Curate a Blind Boxes Collection

Here is a step-by-step guide for creators to launch collections on the Blind Boxes marketplace. To request that your collection receives marketing support, use this link to schedule your collection drop.

Here is an overview of the steps:

1. Navigate to v2.blindboxes.io
2. Connect to Web3 via Metamask or other crypto wallet.

You will have multiple choices of networks to connect to. Be sure to connect to the network that matches the NFTs that you will be listing.

3. Click ‘My Collections’ on the left menu bar.

4. Enter the title of your collection.

5. Set the commission for the curator of the collection.

The curator is the person coordinating the collection. If you are a solo creator and you are curating your own collection, leave this value at 0%.

If you are curating a collection for a group of creators, choose the commission that was previously agreed upon by all parties in the collection.

6. Select the currency for the collection.

You can choose our native token, BLES (recommended in order to waive the 5% platform fee) or BUSD (Binance Stablecoin) which is pegged 1:1 to USD.

8. Add collaborators by adding their wallet addresses.

If you are creating a solo collection, add your wallet address here. If you are curating a collection with a group of creators, add their wallets here. Only wallets that are on this list will be able to add NFTs to this collection.

9. Click ‘Create Collection’.

Importing NFTs to your library

After creating a collection, there are two stages where the NFTs will live: the Library, and the finalized collection. To import an NFT you need two pieces of information: Token ID, Token contract address

1. Find the Token ID

This four-digit number can be found by looking at the smart contract of the NFT. The location of this information will vary depending on the minting platform used to create the NFT.

Some platforms display this information prominently. If you cannot find it, copy and paste your NFT wallet address into BSCScan (for BSC-based NFTs) or Etherscan (for ETH-based NFTs).

2. Find the NFT contract address

This number can be found by looking at the smart contract of the NFT. The location of this information will vary depending on the minting platform used to create the NFT.

Some platforms display this information prominently. If you cannot find it, copy and paste your NFT wallet address into BSCScan (for BSC-based NFTs) or Etherscan (for ETH-based NFTs).

Locate and enter the TOKEN ID and CONTRACT ADDRESS to the Blind Boxes platform to import the NFT into your library.

3. Assign a price tag to each NFT

This price should align with the value that the creator or NFT-owner believes accurately represents the asset. We encourage artists to use their past sales (NFT sales or traditional sales) as a guideline for assigning prices.

Buyers will see the prices assigned to individual pieces. If the prices do not seem fair, collectors will not purchase from the collection. Collections that feature NFTs at their fair market value will have a higher probability of selling out.

Inviting collaborators

Send the URL link of the collection to the users on your whitelist to invite them to join your collection. You can find this link in the address bar of your web browser when you are in the collection library landing page.

Finally, hit publish to make the collection go live.
