Dusty Kessler: A life behind the lens

Dusty Kessler, a prolific globe-trotting photographer and videographer is one such creator who is bridging this gap.

How it started

Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri in the United States, Dusty was drawn to photography at an early age. His curiosity for a life behind the lens prompted him to enroll at a fine arts institute in Kansas City, followed by a stint at Webster University.

Dusty’s keen eye for detail soon caught the attention of renowned commercial photographer, Mark Katzman who took him under his wing.

How it’s going

It was during this apprenticeship with Katzman where Dusty honed his skills and branched out on his own as an editorial and commercial lifestyle photographer. Media coverage with noted publications such as Popular Mechanics, PDN and Rolling Stone accelerated his success. This enabled him to work with the biggest names in music as he expanded his footprint across the globe as a much sought-after photographer.

Dusty Kessler continues to be commissioned for coveted projects as a talented photographer, even as he now makes waves as an NFT artist with his recent drop on the Blind Boxes Marketplace. He is certainly an artist that we will be following, across creative mediums, for a long time.
