Creators, we have another dynamic on deck just for you. Blind Boxes is partnering with a mission-driven decentralized finance (DeFi) project, Popcorn to bring you Get Minted Challenge: Popcorn Edition.
The mission is simple: develop original art, video clips, or memes inspired by Popcorn, a platform that promotes carbon-neutral transactions while enabling users to earn competitive yield on their cryptoassets.
Theme: Popcorn Saves the Planet
Cats are a curious bunch. Mischievous creatures really. Popcorn’s mascot, however, is a different breed of cat. He’s here to do some good with DeFi, and he’s bringing his friends along with him. These cats are cooler than cool, effective AF, and they never leave home without their favorite snack, popcorn!
Rules
Let your imagination run wild and use the Popcorn branding assets as reference, as you create a world where cool cats are saving Planet Earth.
Submit original* work (art, memes, 3D renders, video loops, VR and AR assets) around the elements of Popcorn’s brand and the theme of the competition.
*All submissions will be individually verified. Please do not submit work that does not belong to you. Fake or forged submissions will be shouted out via Twitter.
- To enter, post original art to Twitter using #PopcornBlindBoxes, #BLESgetminted, @blindboxes_io, and @Popcorn_DAO
- $BLES voting rewards (50% boost each voting day) will be distributed to token stakers
- POP tokens will be distributed by the Popcorn team following the conclusion of voting.
- Winners will have their work minted into NFTs and sold on Blind Boxes
Voting
Voting will occur over the course of 7 days. Rewards in the form of BLES tokens will be distributed to:
- The creators of the top 3 artworks
- BLES stakers that participate in voting will receive a 50% staking bonus during voting days
Prizes
Popcorn will contribute 10,000 $POP for the winners pool and for marketing events to promote the contest
- First place — 6.5K $POP
- Second place — 1.5K $POP
- Third place — 1K $POP
- Voting incentives — 1000 $POP
Each winner will also receive the direct proceeds from the sale of their artwork minted into an NFT. Once minted these NFTs will automatically be included in the Get Minted: Popcorn Edition Blind Box collection drop.

Popcorn is a new eco-friendly paradigm for DeFi, where users can earn high yield on their cryptoassets while creating real world impact. Protocol fees are distributed not only to POP Token holders, but to impact initiatives selected by the community.
