Mixed media artist Matt Semke a.k.a. catswilleatyou and a stacked cohort of digital creators including Shindo, Onderwish, and Lumi have collaborated on a 3D limited edition NFT collection titled ‘Aberrations of Contemplation’. The collection drops exclusively on the Blind Boxes platform today May 20th.

Catswilleatyou has dabbled in various forms of mixed media including painting, drawing, animation, films, and music video production. A prolific artist, he has published a new piece of art every single day since December 18, 2006 making him the longest running ‘#everyday’ artist, beating the highly publicized NFT artist Beeple who recently sold a single piece of digital art at Christie’s auction house for a record breaking price of $69 million USD.

Lumi is an artist with natural flair who embarked upon his artistic journey by sketching simple human figures, and eventually evolved into creating multi-layered characters, exploring ideas around mortality and struggle. “Tomb” explores the use of Brutalist architecture to create an imposing, yet serene environment to house the figure, similar to how we inhabit a universe that is massive beyond comprehension. A terrifying, yet humbling prospect.

Shindo is a multidisciplinary digital artist, and an investor. At 22 years old, Shindo is a 3D animation and Digital Design student at Centre NAD in Montreal, Canada. A curious mind and a self-confessed blockchain nerd, he treats these networks as his playground where his artworks can live on forever.

‘Infinity is human’s greatest destination’ is the core theme of his works for this collection.

Onderwish a.k.a. Aaron Leroy is a mixed-media artist who embarked on a musical journey as a 13 year old before crossing over to various other mediums including animation and 3D art. His SFX library has been used by Metallica’s promotional team, The New Yorker, as well as numerous podcasts and short films.

Aaron currently attends a VFX program at Université du Québec à Montréal in Canada with a goal to amalgamate the disciplines of music, 3D art and animation through his creations.
